Until now it has been a one-sided story. As a plaintiff The Sri Lankan Government presented its case and the defendant did not appear or was not invited to presents his defense. There was no forum for us to present our case or we were not invited to present our case or may be the benign and peaceful nature of our culture we just absorbed all mud and muscles thrown at us. We also had the problem of re-establishing in new domains. Few of us have now graduated from that task.

South Asia is in turmoil and at a turning point in history. The seed of change was planted by the Tamils and is defended by the LTTE to free the people of South Asia. It is not a war between Tamils and Singhalese; it is about the total change of the political landscape of south Asia. People of South Asia must rise up and proclaim total freedom. We in Europe and United States are with you; go for it. We have to overcome race, religion, language, regions, and caste and class systems. We cannot prosper without total freedom, equality and total unity.

Twenty-five years ago we came as refugee to various parts of the world. In these 25 years we the Tamils have permeated various section of the society, ranging from education, entrepreneurship, employment, government services, financial services, high tech industries etc. How did we do it? Through sheer hard work. I still work 15 hours a day, about 3 hours devoted to the Tamil cause.

We came to this conclusion after inferring that the Sri Lankans are struggling with inflation, loss of lives due to war and lack of economic policies. Their leaders have not only failed them but also made them destitute and orphans. Some families do not have a breadwinner. We want to help those families.

To help our brothers and sisters we decided to give a few families that lost their breadwinner at this war a cash donation. This money is specifically for a family that suffered as a result of the unnecessary war of ego emancipation of a few.

This is written in response to an article that appeared in the web about how badly the people from the North treated people in the East Sri Lanka.

MARSHALL PLAN FOR SRI LANKA?

We need a new direction for Sri Lanka, which has been living in a feudalistic and fanatic system since independence. Looking at Sri Lanka from international space station it looks like a frog in the vast Indian Ocean. Being cut off, it did not interact with the rest of the world and has ever been living in an outdated domain.

Whatever education they have is what the Europeans gave them in the 500 years and from then onwards they went back wards into Racism, Fanatism, Feudalism and latterly State Terrorism.
